
Guest Lecture: “Tackling Populism in Europe: The role of the European Parliament: (30 March 2021)
The School of Law of UCLan Cyprus is pleased to announce the 2nd EUPOP Guest Lecture that will take place on the 30th of March 2021 from 17:00-19:00 within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module ‘European Union Law and Governance in Populist Times’/ The Guest Lecture entitles “Tackling of Populism in Europe: The role of the European Parliament” will be delivered by Mr. Andreas Kettis – Head of the European Parliament Office in Cyprus – and develop actions taken by the European Parliament when faced with the threat of populism.
Target audience: PhD Students, early career researchers, undergraduates, postgraduate students and other advances students in fields such as law, European studies, sociology, politics, policy makers, representatives of civil society, stakeholders, professionals. The Guest Lecture is designed for the continuous professional development (CPD) of young and other professionals in Cyprus and internationally.
